Ramen Egg

Ingredients

  • * 2-6 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp mirin
  • 3-6 Tbsp water (adjust saltiness)

  • Cook: 1-3 days
  • Serves: 2-6

Directions

  1. - Bring medium sauce pan of water to a boil (1“ above eggs)
  2. When boiling, carefully submerge eggs
  3. Immediately reduce heat to simmer, cook for exactly 7 min
  4. Remove eggs and place in ice bath to cool for 3 min
  5. Peel eggs and combine in airtight container with soy sauce, mirin, water
  6. Leave marinate 1-3 days in refrigerator
  7. Cut in half to serve
